Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here last month! The location is very central and is only a short distance to the shops and to the marina if you're planning to do any dive/snorkelling trips. Free underground parking is also very handy. I will be definitely be booking at Le Cher Du Monde the next time I'm in Port Douglas!
We stayed at Le Cher Du Monde for seven nights. The central location made life so easy. Walking distance to shops, beach and the Marina. Even though the rooms were in a transition of being updated they were very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The managers Lyn, Rob & Allegra were extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend anyone travelling to Port Douglas to check out Le Cher Du Monde.
We stayed here for a week to celebrate my 50th Birthday. It was a great experience and stay. The rooms are lovely and lead out onto a beautiful lagoon style pool. It was a quiet little oasis combined with a fantastic location on the main street amongst all the restaurants and bars. Highly recommend!
Fantastic location in the heart of Macrossan St with an easy walk to everything. Apartment is ideal for a couple, very clean and well equipped. No street noise when the windows are closed. I loved people watching from the balcony. We will definitely stay here again.
What was not to love. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was well equipped for a holiday stay. Extremely spacious , clean and comfortable. Would not have a problem recommending it to anyone.
Location location. Everything about the stay here was excellent. Room spotless. Service great. Staff put in extra mile Under cover parking is a bonus 5 minute walk to beach and in Main Street of town perfect
Nice place and great people, highly recommended. Central but far enough away from the commotion of the actual busy pubs in Macrossan street. Lyn is very accommodating, helpful and a knowledgeable local. If you need advise she's the one to ask. Room was great and the pool was big enough to be right for a relaxing cool off. Oh and the big plus.... NO KIDS!!! So your relaxing arvo is just that! It's a tick for us.
Park inside and walk right out onto the food strip of Port Douglas, relax in a great room with that holiday feel with a spa in your room or a frolic in the tropical pool. Management offer to help anyway they can with bookings out and even dinner reservations!
What a beautiful hotel and so well appointed. The entire place is immaculate. The apartment was spacious, with high quality furnishings and finishes. It was so convenient to have a kitchenette. The coffee sachets had far better coffee than the usual ones supplied by hotels. We liked everything about this place. There's nothing NOT to like! We had a disability suite with a huge bathroom, just perfect for anyone disabled. The owners / managers are excellent hosts. We've stayed at Port Douglas in the past but this is by far the best accommodation we have ever had there. The pool area is lovely too. There's free parking and a side entrance with a ramp for disabled guests. There's even a little cafe at the side entrance that serves good food and coffee.
Awesome apartment, with all the facilities to make your stay comfortable, maintained well and very clean. Centrally located in town with really easy access to shops, restaurants and tours. Staff were very friendly and helpful.. Overall, a great boutique apartment - didn’t want to leave!!
So large a room for the price! Pool was tranquil and we used it heaps! Great hosts who responded to our requests positively and with no fuss. Nothing was an effort and we appreciated the little things they did for us
